QUALITY PERFORMANCE

*NEW* Physician Burnout Survey   Big MAHALO to all the providers who helped us complete this measure and took the survey!

*NEW* Blood Pressure Training Workshops   We are excited to offer blood pressure training to staff whose clinics are members of East Hawaii IPA!  This is an important patient safety and health plan quality measure where accuracy matters!  Kelley O’Leary RN, EHI Quality Performance Manager, noticed some variation in the way blood pressures were taken when she recently conducted clinic observations. This is a great chance to learn what standard practice is and hone our skills! Training sessions will be held at the IPA office on July 9, 11, and 12 at noon with lunch included. RSVPs forthcoming. Please email Kelley at koleary@ehiipa.com if you have any questions.

Need a Doc Campaign + Providers Accepting HMSA Patients   If your office is accepting NEW HMSA PATIENTS, please let us know so we can help patients find a primary care provider. EHI’s “Need a Doc” campaign will help place patients with current member practices. You can view the material on our website here. If you have any questions, please contact Kelley at 808-797-3113 or email koleary@ehiipa.com.
