SBIRT Workshop – July 31, 2018, 12:00 PM & 5:00 PM“Check In” workshop to review screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment progress and process. Open to currently participating offices. Details to be FAXED and emailed to individual offices. If you have not yet passed out screening surveys in your office and are interested in participating, it’s not too late. HMSA Payment Transformation Model UpdateEast Hawaii IPA did not receive Total Cost of Care monies for 2017 cost management performance. Board is investigating why EHI did not receive funds and will be negotiating for supplemental funding from HMSA. HMSA will have individual provider rates prepared by late July. Contracts will be sent in early August and need to be signed by August 31, 2018. New rates will go into effect on October 1, 2018.
Membership Dues Invoices were sent out the beginning of this week. This year’s annual dues payment will be prorated to $600 from July 1-December 31. Members will have the option to receive monthly invoices or pay one lump sum in advance. Also, a reminder that member providers much purchase and maintain professional liability insurance with annual limits of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate.
