Hawaii Health Partners Alliance As reported in the General Meeting & Election, EHI will be moving forward with a possible alliance with Hawaii Health Partners (HHP), a wholly-owned accountable care organization subsidiary of Hawaii Pacific Health (Kapiolani, Pali Momi, Straub, Wilcox). Member forums will be held in June to share information and feedback.
eClinical Works Kick Off –Tuesday, May 9 An EHI IPA kick-off webinar/call will be held for the first “wave” of eClinical Works offices. An email invitation will be sent to practices who have signed their agreements.
SBIRT Grant East Hawaii IPA received a grant from the State of Hawaii to implement SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral & Treatment ) for patients with alcohol and substance abuse challenges. The grant will cover training and support practice efforts to screen patients and will help practices meet HMSA Payment Transformation and CPC+ quality reporting measures. Please contact them directly if you need to change the names of the staff members in your practice who receive the weekly emails announcing the webinar information including the logins.
Getting EHR Access for Patients Admitted to the HospitalTraining session at Hilo Medical Center Learning Center Conference Room (second floor) on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, noon to 1:30 p.m. Training includes how to see information on patients admitted to HMC via their Meditech HealthConnect System. Hawaii Health Information Exchange (HHIE) will also give brief training on how to access health record information on patients admitted to Queen’s, HPH, and Castle hospitals. Lunch will be provided.
